Chereace Marcellin

Chereace Marcellin serves as SLAC’s DEI+ Outreach Specialist, focused on growing the laboratory’s talent pipeline, sustaining institutional partnerships, and bridging a pathway for historically underrepresented professionals to grow from a STEM education into a STEM career. As the laboratory strives to be a pinnacle of scientific and inclusive excellence, she partners with SLAC researchers who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators. And strategically leverages relationships with faculty/staff across various professional associations and Minority Serving Institutions (Historically Black Colleges & Universities, Hispanic-Serving Colleges, Native-American Serving Nontribal Colleges & Tribal Colleges).

Chereace has a B.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology & Management from Quinnipiac University. And comes from a background in higher education and business management; her previous role supporting entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses at the University of Connecticut.
